New Ad Ties Josh Hawley To Scandals In Jefferson City

Washington, D.C. (March, 2, 2018) Senate Majority PAC released a new ad in the Missouri Senate race that puts a spotlight on Attorney General Josh Hawley’s refusal to clean up scandals in Jefferson City.

During his campaign for Attorney General, Josh Hawley took $3 million from mega donor David Humphreys who subsequently has been accused of an illegal pay-to-pay scheme. Since the scandal has come to light, Josh Hawley has taken no action and even admitted he hasn’t looked at the evidence in the case.

“After refusing to stand up to his biggest donor and immediately climbing the ladder to higher office, it is clear that Josh Hawley was never serious about being an effective Attorney General,” said Chris Hayden, SMP Communications Director. “Josh Hawley is just another self-serving politician for sale to the highest bidder.”
