WASHINGTON, D.C. —Today, Senate Majority PAC is up with a new television ad in Michigan featuring Michigan voters holding failed Republican Senate candidate John James accountable for his reckless health care positions.

During his failed 2018 bid for U.S. Senate, John James recorded a video saying he would work his ‘tail off’ to repeal the law that protects those with pre-existing conditions. James also said he supports President Trump’s agenda 2000 percent and has praised President Trump on video for successfully addressing tax reform and almost addressing health care reform. In his three years of campaigning, John James has never offered a plan to protect those with pre-existing conditions.

The television ad, “No Matter What,” can be viewed here.

“John James said he was going to work his ‘tail off’ to repeal the very law that protects Michiganders with pre-existing conditions,”said Senate Majority PAC spokesperson Matt Corridoni.“Michiganders can’t afford John James and his support of the GOP’s reckless policies that would discriminate against those with pre-existing conditions, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. When it comes to health care, John James’ ‘2000 percent’ of Trump is dangerous for Michigan.”
