Senate Majority PAC Launches Digital Ads Highlighting McSally’s Stunning Reversal on DACA

Targeted Facebook Ads to Run in Both English and Spanish Across Arizona

Washington, D.C. — Today, Senate Majority PAC is launching new digital ads in Arizona reminding voters of Martha McSally’s stunning reversal on her support of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in order to advance her political career. The targeted Facebook ads highlight McSally’s “downward spiral” as she flip-flopped on her support of a bipartisan bill to fix DACA and removed a video praising the DACA program from her campaign website.

The targeted Facebook ads will reach tens of thousands of Hispanic voters and run in English and Spanish across the state. The ads will run for the next three weeks, just as McSally is slated to return to Arizona for Thanksgiving recess. In the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court hearing arguments on President Trump’s decision to end the DACA program, McSally again sided with her party bosses while turning her back on the 25,000 Dreamers in Arizona.

“Martha McSally’s reversal on protecting Dreamers in order to advance her political career is the ultimate betrayal and she must answer for it,” said Rachel Irwin, a spokesperson for Senate Majority PAC. “Arizonans deserve to know that McSally’s loyalty to her party bosses always comes first, especially when it benefits her political prospects. Our new digital ad campaign reminds voters who Martha McSally is fighting for in Washington: herself.”
