About the Role

  • Work closely with the digital creative director on all digital content, including specifically targeted media
  • Provide insight into strategic choices such as audience and messaging alignment
  • Conduct research on trends in digital media, both within and outside of politics

Additional Requirements:

  • Review all Spanish-language creative as well as give feedback on scripts, storyboards, and proposed imagery
  • Responsible for translating all Spanish-language copy, scripts, and subtitle English-language videos 

Requirements:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in content creation, media strategy, or advertising
  • 1-2+ years at a political organization, on a campaign, or a politically-focused business
  • Fluent in Spanish with an understanding of regional variations

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous work providing translations
  • College degree, preferred, not required

Digital Creative Director

About Senate Majority PAC

About the Role

The digital creative director, who will also serve as deputy to the digital director, will be a critical role in a multi-million-dollar, data-driven digital ads program. We are seeking someone who has a clear point of view and is able to effectively communicate with outside vendors and consultants, as well as internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities consist of working to help conceive of and write ads, manage vendors and provide oversight of production including ensuring that creative is delivered on time. We are looking for someone who can take strategic learnings from focus groups, ad tests, digital best practices (both within politics and more traditional corporate advertisers), and their own experience to quickly provide meaningful edits to our digital creative at every step of the process. 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing or advertising creative production and strategy
  • Excellent communication skills, project management, and attention to detail
  • Familiar with the Adobe creative suite of products
  • Experience working with and managing creative production vendors and/or teams

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in political campaigns or organizations 
  • Previous experience working with pollsters and focus groups
  • Hands on video editing or graphic design experience

Communications Director

Senate Majority PAC

Senate Majority PAC (SMP), solely dedicated to winning back the Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate, is seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to serve as communications director for the 2020 election cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop messaging strategy for individual races
  • Develop press plans and message guidance
  • Create strategic opportunities for outreach to targeted reporters
  • Work with the digital team to develop social media strategy
  • Oversee tv and radio bookings for SMP senior staff
  • Manage the communications department

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience as a communications director in politics, advocacy and/or policy
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
