DIGITAL DIRECTOR

Senate Majority PAC (SMP), located in Washington, D.C., seeks a Digital Director to help lead its efforts to maintain the Democratic Senate majority in the 2022 elections.

Position
The digital director position will be centered around informing, persuading, and mobilizing voters through integrated digital strategies. This person will play the leading role in executing social media strategies, drafting content, advertising campaigns, and overall digital strategy

Responsibilities

  • Execute digital and media planning strategies that are data-driven and digital-first
  • Work across internal and external stakeholders and vendors on the implementation of earned, organic, and paid digital media campaignsBuild in-house a scalable digital, creative, and data infrastructure
  • Explore and help identify partners and technologies for campaign efforts
  • Monitor trends/changes in the news media, social media, political and digital landscape
  • Draft, schedule, and develop organic and paid content across a wide array of digital platforms including social media and web
  • Ensure the completion of deliverables and objectives

Qualifications

  • Experience in developing strategic digital, creative, and communications outreach plans and campaigns
  • Experience in digital media planning, creative production, and data analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (preferred) and 3-4+ years of experience with digital advertising, content strategy, and/or social media
  • Multi-tasker and effective organizer with a critical eye for details who is passionate about the role digital plays in the political landscape
  • Has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, especially writing and content creation
  • An ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment

Deputy Research Director

Senate Majority PAC (SMP) is seeking a Deputy Research Director for the 2022 election cycle.
SMP is solely dedicated to protecting the Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate.

Position:

The Deputy Research Director at SMP will play a leading role in executing SMP’s research efforts across the Senate map.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting in managing SMP’s research department;
  • Creating and executing research plan to support SMP’s efforts across the map;
  • Working with SMP’s senior team and campaign consultants to develop messaging strategy;
  • Implementing and overseeing research approval process for paid media and polling;
  • Working with SMP’s legal team to assess risks of paid media and polling;
  • Working with allied organizations to ensure research needs are met;
  • Performing other skills as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous political campaign experience required, including:
  • At least two cycles of experience working in political research preferred;
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail;
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours when needed;
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

Research Associate

  • Assisting Research Director and Deputy Research Director in executing research plan to support SMP’s efforts across the map;
  • Performing as research lead in assigned Senate race(s);
  • Creating research documents as needed;
  • Working with press and polling teams as needed;
  • Performing other skills as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous political campaign experience required, including:
  • At least one cycle of experience working in political research preferred;
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail;
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours when needed;
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

Media Monitor/Research Assistant

Senate Majority PAC is seeking a media monitor and research assistant for the 2022 election cycle.

Position:

The Media Monitor/Research Assistant will report to the research director and work closely with members of the SMP communications and political teams to track ongoing news coverage and campaign activity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Media monitoring,
  • Tracking paid advertisement and other campaign activity and news,
  • Assisting in other research, communications and political projects as needed.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Previous campaign experience a plus;
  • Excellent writing skills;
  • Highly organized;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work nontraditional hours when needed;
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
