New Ad: Mike Braun’s Blue Shirt Can’t Hide His Record Of Mistreating Workers

Washington, D.C. (June 5, 2018) – Today, SMP released a new statewide ad in Indiana highlighting State Rep. Mike Braun’s hypocrisy when it comes to standing up for Hoosier workers. Despite the persona he has portrayed on the trail, Braun is a millionaire CEO whose company has been cited 122 times for workplace violations that include providing unsafe working conditions and underpaying employees.

“Rep. Mike Braun spent the Republican primary pretending to be an outsider who would fight for hardworking Hoosiers, but his record shows that he prioritized his personal profits ahead of the safety of his employees,” said Chris Hayden, spokesperson for SMP. “Braun claims to fight for Hoosiers, but when given the opportunity he cheated them out of money they deserved and provided them unsafe working conditions. His record makes it clear – Mike Braun cannot be trusted to look out for Hoosiers.”
