New Ad: Kevin Cramer’s Nasty Attacks Can’t Change His Bad Record

Washington, D.C. (June 22, 2018) – Today, SMP released a new statewide ad in North Dakota showing how Kevin Cramer is misleading North Dakota voters with nasty attacks on Heidi Heitkamp to distract from his disastrous record. The new ad corrects the record and showcases how Heidi Heitkamp has routinely worked across party lines, while Kevin Cramer increased the deficit and wants to cut Social Security and Medicare to pay for it.

“Kevin Cramer’s nasty attacks are a desperate attempt to distract voters from his actions that have hurt middle class North Dakotans,” said Chris Hayden, spokesperson for SMP. “In reality, Heidi Heitkamp has been praised for her independence and amassing a voting record that puts North Dakota first. Kevin Cramer is the only candidate in this race who wants to cut Social Security and Medicare.”
