New Ad: Kevin Cramer Sold Out North Dakota Again

Washington, D.C. (August 20, 2018) – Today, SMP released a new ad in North Dakota that continues to highlight Kevin Cramer’s record of putting his bottom line and the desires of special interests before the well-being of North Dakotans. The ad explains that as public service commissioner Kevin Cramer took $40,000 from the energy industry and voted to raise utility rates for North Dakotans seventeen times while his own salary increased by $23,000.

“Once again, Kevin Cramer is busted for selling out North Dakota to special interest groups, only this time he fattened his own wallet as well,” said Hannah Hurley, spokesperson for SMP. “Kevin Cramer has a history of putting the desires of his special interest donors over the welfare of North Dakota families. North Dakota deserves better than these pay-to-play type deals. North Dakotans deserve a senator that will always put them first, and that clearly isn’t Kevin Cramer.”
