New Ad: Kevin Cramer Doesn’t Look Out For North Dakota

Washington, D.C. (June 8, 2018) – Today,  SMP released a new statewide ad in North Dakota directly responding to Kevin Cramer’s baseless attacks on Heidi Heitkamp. Our latest ad sets the record straight, and highlights the fact that Heidi Heitkamp voted for tax cuts that help middle class families and North Dakota farmers, while Kevin Cramer voted for a tax bill that increases the national deficit and threatens Social Security and Medicare.

“The only candidate in this race with a record of putting partisan politics aside to do what is right for North Dakota is Heidi Heitkamp,” said Chris Hayden, spokesperson for SMP. “Heidi Heitkamp has voted for tax cuts that would benefit hardworking North Dakotans. Kevin Cramer voted for a tax bill that balloons the deficit and now he says they’ll have to slash Medicare and Social Security to pay for it. Fact’s matter, and when it comes to looking out for middle class North Dakotans, Kevin Cramer doesn’t cut it.”
