MAJORITY PAC CONTINUES OFFENSIVE IN NORTH DAKOTA, MISSOURI SENATE BATTLES
New Ads Target Republican Deceptions
WASHINGTON D.C. [August 2, 2012] – Majority PAC today announced the launch of new advertising in its campaigns in North Dakota and Missouri. With the ads, Majority PAC and its allies are holding Republican candidates accountable in North Dakota, Missouri, Wisconsin, Virginia, Nevada, Montana, New Mexico, and Nebraska – eight states essential to maintaining the Democratic majority in the Senate.
The North Dakota ad, entitled “April 15th,” is Majority PAC’s latest ad in its ongoing campaign targeting Rick Berg’s Washington values and his votes to radically cut Medicare. Majority PAC and American Bridge 21st Century also launched a new microsite, www.NorthDakotaMedicareFacts.org, to bring the facts directly to North Dakota voters.
“North Dakotans have been counting on Medicare for nearly fifty years, but that didn’t stop Rick Berg from voting not just once, but twice, to essentially end the program,” said Majority PAC strategist J.B. Poersch. “It only took Rick Berg four months in Washington before he voted to cut Medicare, and then he did it again. Now he wants six years in the Senate to undermine Medicare even further.”
The new ad will run statewide, and is available here, with backup available here.
The Missouri ad, “Again,” is Majority PAC’s fourth ad in the state in 2012. “Again” is a response to John Brunner’s deceptive advertising about his own business record.
“John Brunner is so desperate to deflect attention from the $245 million in debt he saddled his company with and almost put his company out of business that he’s trying to take credit for creating jobs that already existed — jobs in Tennessee,” said Majority PAC strategist Rebecca Lambe. “We can’t let John Brunner start a general election campaign with Missouri voters believing the fairy tale he is telling.”
“Again” will run in the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Springfield media markets, and is available here, with backup available here.
Majority PAC’s other ads are available on YouTube here.
